U 2017. ukupna vrijednost industrijskih proizvoda koju su prodala poduzeća što su se bavila industrijskom proizvodnjom (bez obzira na to gdje je poduzeće registrirano) u Republici Hrvatskoj iznosi 134 841 milijun kuna. U usporedbi s prethodnom godinom, vrijednost prodaje veća je za 14 364 milijuna kuna, što iznosi 10,7%. Vrijednost prodaje na inozemno tržište iznosi 59 039 milijuna kuna, što je 43,8% od ukupne vrijednosti prodaje industrijskih proizvoda.

In 2017, the total value of industrial products sold by enterprises engaged in production of industrial products in the Republic of Croatia (irrespective of where those enterprises were registered) amounted to 134 841 million kuna. As compared to the previous year, the value of industrial products sold decreased by 14 364 million kuna, or by 10.7%. The value of the sale to external markets amounted to 59 039 million kuna, which accounts for 43.8% of the total value of industrial products sold.

Prema industrijskim područjima NKD-a 2007. vrijednost prodanih industrijskih proizvoda razvrstanih prema djelatnostima proizvoda najveća je u području C Prerađivačka industrija i iznosi 109 378 milijuna kuna, u području D Opskrba električnom energijom, plinom, parom i klimatizacija iznosi 20 530 milijuna kuna, u području B Rudarstvo i vađenje iznosi 3 415 milijuna kuna, a najmanja je u području E Opskrba vodom; uklanjanje otpadnih voda, gospodarenje otpadom te djelatnosti sanacije okoliša (samo odjeljak 36) i iznosi 1 517 milijuna kuna. Vrijednost prodaje industrijskih proizvoda najveća je u odjeljku 10 Proizvodnja prehrambenih proizvoda (21 805 milijuna kuna), a najmanja je u odjeljku 12 Proizvodnja duhanskih proizvoda (338 milijuna kuna).

According to the NKD 2007. industrial sections, the value of industrial products sold, according to the product activity, was the highest in section C Manufacturing, 109 378 million kuna, D Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, 20 530 million kuna, and B Mining and quarrying, 3 415 million kuna, while in section E Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (only division 36), it was the lowest, 1 517 million kuna. The value of industrial products sold was the highest in division 10 Food products (21 805 million kuna) and the lowest in division 12 Tobacco products (338 million kuna).

Udio prodaje industrijskih proizvoda koja se obavljala za vlastiti račun proizvođača prema djelatnostima proizvoda još je dominantan u Republici Hrvatskoj i iznosi 97,8% ukupne vrijednosti prodaje industrijskih proizvoda, dok udio vrijednosti industrijskih proizvoda koja se obavljala prema ugovoru s naručiteljem (za tuđi račun) iznosi samo 2,2% u 2017. Najveći udio proizvodnje za tuđi račun zabilježen je u odjeljcima 14 (19,9%), 15 (17,0%), 25 (13,6%) i 28 (10,7%) u području C Prerađivačka industrija.

In the Republic of Croatia, the share of industrial products sold on producers’ own account, according to product activity, was still dominant in 2017 and amounted to 97.8% of the total value of industrial products sold, while the share of the value of industrial products sold under contract with the principal (for third parties) amounted to only 2.2%. The highest share of industrial products sold under contract was recorded in divisions 14 (19.9%), 15 (17.0%), 25 (13.6%) and 28 (10.7%) of section C Manufacturing.

Ako usporedimo industrijsku prodaju 21 županije Republike Hrvatske (tablica 2. i grafikon G-6.), najveći udio u vrijednosti prodaje industrijskih proizvoda mjerene prema djelatnosti proizvoda ostvarili su Grad Zagreb, u iznosu od 40 249 milijuna kuna (37,0%) i Varaždinska županija, u iznosu od 9 280 milijuna kuna (8,5%). Najmanju vrijednost prodaje industrijskih proizvoda ostvarila je Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija, samo 224 milijuna kuna (0,2%).

The comparison of industrial products sold in 21 counties of the Republic of Croatia (see table 2. and graph G-6.) shows that the highest share in the value of industrial products sold according to the product activity was recorded in the City of Zagreb, 40 249 million kuna (37.0%) and in the County of Varaždin, 9 280 million kuna (8.5%), while the lowest value of industrial products sold was recorded in the County of Dubrovnik-Neretva, only 224 million kuna (0.2%).

Podaci o vrijednosti prodaje industrijskih proizvoda dobiveni su obradom istraživanja PRODCOM o industrijskoj proizvodnji u 2017.,  kojim je obuhvaćeno 3 209 industrijskih lokalnih jedinica od pravnih osoba i obrtnika s 10 i više zaposlenih. Struktura obuhvata u 2017. pravnih osoba i obrtnika prema djelatnostima proizvoda po područjima NKD-a 2007. jest sljedeća: u području B obuhvaćeno je 2,5%, u području C 84,4%, u području D 15,2% i u području E 1,1% (samo odjeljak 36).

Data on the value of industrial products sold were obtained by the processing of the PRODCOM Survey on Industrial Production in 2017, which covered 3 209 industrial local units belonging to legal entities and tradesmen employing 10 and more persons. The structure of the coverage of legal entities and tradesmen by product activity in 2017, according to the NKD 2007. activity sections, was the following: 2.5% of them were covered by section B, 84.4% by section C, 15.2% by section D and 1.1% in section E (only division 36).

Veliko povećanje vrijednosti prodanih industrijskih proizvoda u odjeljku 35 NKD-a (Opskrba električnom energijom, plinom, parom i klimatizacija) u 2017. u usporedbi sa 2016. nastalo je uglavnom zbog izdvajanja opskrbe iz distribucije električne energije i prirodnog plina. U navedenim slučajevima prodana količina u 2016. prikazana je samo jedanput pod distribucijom, a u 2017. prikazana je pod distribucijom i opskrbom. Cijene i količine navedenih energenata u 2017. u usporedbi s 2016. blago su porasle.

A substantial increase in the values of industrial products sold in the NKD division 35 (Electricity, gas, stream and air conditioning supply) in 2017, in relation to 2016, was primarily caused by detaching supply from distribution of electricity and gas. In these cases, the sold quantity was presented only once under distribution in 2016, while in 2017 it was presented under both distribution and supply. Prices and quantities of the mentioned energy products mildly increased in 2017, as compared to 2016.

2017. Nomenklatura industrijskih proizvoda za opskrbu električnom energijom vrlo je razrađena radi izračuna indeksa proizvođačkih cijena industrije. Distributivna područja električnom energijom znatno se razlikuju od županijskih područja pa bi opskrbljivačima električnom energijom iskazivanje opskrbe prema novoj nomenklaturi po županijama predstavljalo veliko opterećenje. In 2017, in order to calculate industrial producer price indices, the Nomenclature of Industrial Products was highly elaborated in the part pertaining to electricity supply. However, since electricity distribution areas significantly differ from county areas, presenting data on electricity supply by counties, according to the new Nomenclature, would heavily burden the electricity suppliers. Ovo Priopćenje sadržava privremene podatke istraživanja PRODCOM o industrijskoj proizvodnji (IND-21/PRODCOM) za 2017. Proveo ga je Državni zavod za statistiku na temelju Zakona o službenoj statistici
(NN, br. 103/03., 75/09. i 59/12.) i Statističkih standarda za istraživanje PRODCOM o industrijskoj proizvodnji u 2017., čiji je sastavni dio i Nomenklatura industrijskih proizvoda – NIP 2017. Pojam "industrija" u cijelom Priopćenju definiran je proizvodima (i uslugama) područja djelatnosti B, C, D i E (samo odjeljak 36) prema NKD-u 2007.  
Ta definicija industrije šira je od definicije industrije koja se primjenjuje za istraživanje PRODCOM Europske unije (u nastavku teksta: EU-a).

This First Release contains the provisional data of the PRODCOM Survey on Industrial Production (IND-21/PRODCOM form) in 2017. It was carried out by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics on the basis of the Official Statistics Act (NN, Nos 103/03, 75/09 and 59/12) and the Statistical Standards for the PRODCOM Survey on Industrial Production in 2017, the integral part of which is also the Nomenclature of Industrial Products − NIP 2017. The term "industry" used in this First Release is defined by products (and services) within the NKD 2007. sections B, C, D and E (only division 36). This definition of industry is wider than the definition used in the EU PRODCOM Survey.

Privremeni podaci odnose se na najnovije podatke proizvodnih statistika industrije, a izvedeni su iz godišnjih rezultata istraživanja PRODCOM o industrijskoj proizvodnji. Rezultati istraživanja PRODCOM osiguravaju detaljne informacije o nacionalnom tržištu i njegovoj konkurentnosti na međunarodnim tržištima na razini pojedinačnih proizvoda/roba jer su povezani s podacima statistike vanjske trgovine preko veza s CT-om, kao i rezultati PRODCOM-a EU-a, s kojim su harmonizirani. Svi podaci na razini pojedinačnih proizvoda prikupljeni su na temelju Nomenklature industrijskih proizvoda (NIP 2017.), izvedene iz PRODCOM Lista 2017. EU-a, koji je sastavni dio harmoniziranih Statističkih standarda za istraživanje PRODCOM u Republici Hrvatskoj. U tablici 1. prikazani su agregirani rezultati raščlambe prema djelatnosti proizvoda, a slijede je grafikoni s podacima o vrijednosti prodanih proizvoda i izvoza, u tisućama kuna, raščlanjeni prema industrijskim područjima i odjeljcima NKD-a 2007. U tablici 2. prikazani su agregirani rezultati za županije razvrstani prema djelatnosti prodanih proizvoda iz NIP-a 2017. Tablica 3. prikazuje količine i vrijednosti prodaje 10 selektiranih najvažnijih proizvoda u Republici Hrvatskoj definiranih prema PRODCOM Listu 2017. (agregati proizvoda iz NIP-a 2017.) za posljednju raspoloživu godinu, zajedno s podacima izvoza i uvoza roba (podaci vanjske trgovine izvedeni iz CT-a 2017.) i izračunanom vidljivom domaćom potrošnjom za svaki selektirani proizvod/robu dodavanjem uvoza ukupnoj proizvodnji te oduzimanjem izvoza. Selekcija 10 proizvoda izvršena je na temelju njihova udjela u ukupnoj vrijednosti prodanih proizvoda i izvoza u Republici Hrvatskoj prema rezultatima istraživanja PRODCOM o industrijskoj proizvodnji u 2017.

The provisional data refer to the most recent data related to industrial production statistics, which are derived from the annual results of the PRODCOM Survey on Industrial Production. The PRODCOM results provide detailed information about a national market and its competitiveness on international markets at the individual product/commodity level, because they are linked with foreign trade data via CT in the same way as the EU PRODCOM results with which they are harmonised. All data at the individual product level are collected on the basis of the Nomenclature of Industrial Products – NIP 2017, which was derived from the EU PRODCOM List 2017, which is an integral part of the harmonised Statistical Standards for the PRODCOM Survey in the Republic of Croatia. Table 1 presents aggregated results of the breakdown according to product activities, followed by graphs containing data on the value of industrial products sold and export, expressed in thousands of kuna and broken down according to the NKD 2007. sections and divisions. Table 2 presents aggregated results for counties, broken down by product activities according to the NIP 2017. Finally, table 3 shows industrial products sold in volume and value terms of the 10 most important selected individual products in the Republic of Croatia according to the PRODCOM List 2017 (aggregates of the NIP 2017. products) for the most recent available year, combined with data on imports and exports (external trade data derived from CT 2017) and calculated values of apparent domestic consumption for each selected product/commodity by adding imports to production and deducting exports. The 10 products were selected on the basis of their share in the total value of industrial products sold and export in the Republic of Croatia according to the results of the PRODCOM Survey on Industrial Production in 2017.

Obuhvat PRODCOM-a i jedinice. Izvještajne jedinice istraživanja PRODCOM jesu sva trgovačka društva i druge pravne osobe i obrtnici te njihovi dijelovi s više od 10 zaposlenika koji su se bavili industrijskom proizvodnjom ili uslugama (vlastitima ili prema ugovoru) definiranima područjima B, C, D i E (samo odjeljak 36) prema NKD-u 2007. u izvještajnome godišnjem razdoblju. Ciljne statističke jedinice jesu industrijska poduzeća i lokalne jedinice industrijskih i neindustrijskih poduzeća koja proizvode proizvode iz NIP-a (u skladu s PRODCOM Listom).

PRODCOM coverage and units. Reporting units in the PRODCOM Survey on Industrial Production are all trade companies and other legal entities and natural persons and parts thereof employing 10 and more persons that were engaged in industrial production and/or services (production on own account or on contract basis) in reference annual period, as defined in the NKD 2007. sections B, C, D and E (only division 36). Target statistical units are industrial enterprises and local units of industrial and non-industrial enterprises that produce products defined by the NIP (in line with the PRODCOM List). 

Ovim istraživanjem nisu obuhvaćene statističke jedinice ili njihovi dijelovi koji su "fizički" izvan teritorija Republike Hrvatske. U profiliranju statističkih jedinica – lokalnih jedinica – uzima se u obzir načelo županije. U slučajevima kada promatrana jedinica obavlja industrijsku proizvodnju na području nekoliko različitih županija, npr. u pet županija, jedinica je dodatno raščlanjena na pet lokalnih jedinica. Radi održavanja usklađenosti s PRODCOM propisima EU-a, proizvodnja namijenjena daljnjoj preradi u istoj ili drugim lokalnim jedinicama istog poduzeća ne smatra se njezinim outputom. Obuhvat izvještajnih i statističkih jedinica određen je Adresarom statističkih jedinica industrije, koji je izradila Služba statistike industrije i energije i ažurira ga svake godine.

Statistical units or parts thereof that are “physically” situated outside of the territory of the Republic of Croatia are not covered. In profiling of statistical units – local units, the county principle is taken into account.    In cases where an observation unit is engaged in industrial production on the territory of several different counties, e.g. in five counties, it is further divided into five local units. In order to stay in line with the EU PRODCOM regulations, the production intended for further processing in the same or in other legal units of the same enterprise is not considered its output. The coverage of reporting and statistical units is defined in the Address Book of Industrial Statistical Units, which was established and is regularly maintained by the Industry and Energy Statistics Department.

Izvori podataka za ažuriranje Adresara jesu podaci Statističkoga poslovnog registra, ostalih poslovnih istraživanja industrije te drugih sekundarnih izvora. Poseban kriterij obuhvata statističkih jedinica u PRODCOM-u jest da se za svaki pojedinačni razred industrije (od 05.10 do 36.00) iz NKD-a 2007. osigura dovoljan obuhvat statističkih jedinica tako da zajedno sudjeluju s najmanje 90% u bruto dodanoj vrijednosti odgovarajućeg razreda NKD-a 2007. Ako uvjet nije zadovoljen, za određene razrede industrije iz NKD-a 2007. obuhvat se proširuje i na statističke jedinice s manje od 10 zaposlenih, npr. male industrije kao što su industrija kruha, tiskanje i slično.

Data sources used in the annual updating of the Address Book are those of the Statistical Business Register, of other business statistics surveys on industry as well as other available information and data sources. A special criterion applied to the coverage of activities is the so-called 90% rule, which means that a share of at least 90% of gross value added must be achieved for each 4-digit group activity of the NKD 2007. (05.10 to 36.00). If this criterion is not met, the coverage of particular NKD 2007. 4-digit groups is extended to statistical units employing less than 10 persons, e.g. small industries such as baking or printing industries and the like. 

U istraživanju PRODCOM-a za 2017. obuhvaćeno je 3 040 poduzeća (pravnih osoba i obrtnika) sa stopom odgovora od 99,99%, a procijenjenih obrazaca je 0,01%.

The PRODCOM Survey for 2017 covered 3 040 enterprises (legal entities and tradesmen) with a response rate of 99.99% while the non-response estimate was 0.01%.

PRODCOM concepts and definitions 

Koncepti i definicije koji se primjenjuju u istraživanju PRODCOM Republike Hrvatske usklađeni su s istraživanjem PRODCOM unutar EU-a. Ti pojmovi osiguravaju dodatna objašnjenja koja služe za iskazivanje rezultata istraživanja PRODCOM i nemaju smisao definitivnih značenja ovih riječi jer u drugim kontekstima (npr. u različitim poglavljima Ljetopisa) mogu imati drugačije značenje. Namijenjeni su korisnicima rezultata istraživanja PRODCOM kako bi ih ispravno interpretirali, a usklađeni su s konceptima i definicijama PRODCOM istraživanja EU-a.

Concepts and definitions used in the PRODCOM Survey of the Republic of Croatia are harmonised with those used in the PRODCOM Survey carried out within the EU. They provide further explanations used in the presentation of PRODCOM results, though it should be taken into account that in other contexts these concepts and definitions may have different meanings. They are intended only for the correct interpretation of the PRODCOM results and are harmonised with the concepts and definitions of the PRODCOM EU Survey. 

PRODCOM proizvod jest posljedica neke industrijske djelatnosti, upotrebljava se kao opći naziv za proizvode koji imaju fizičku dimenziju i za industrijske usluge. Prema konceptu istraživanja PRODCOM, definiran je Nomenklaturom industrijskih proizvoda (NIP), koja je nacionalna verzija PRODCOM Lista EU-a. Pod pojmom gotov proizvod smatra se svaki proizvod koji je u procesu proizvodnje dosegao odgovarajući stupanj prerade ili dorade tako da je u NIP-u naveden pod posebnom šifrom i nazivom. Pojam tako definiranoga gotovog proizvoda obuhvaća i sve radove dovršavanja proizvoda, kao što su čišćenje, pakiranje, ispitivanje kvalitete, kasiranje i slično.  

PRODCOM product is an outcome of a certain economic activity. It is a generic term applied to products that have a physical dimension as well as for industrial services. According to the concept of the PRODCOM Survey, it is defined by the headings of the Nomenclature of Industrial Products – NIP, which is a national version of the EU PRODCOM List. A finished product is any product that has reached a certain stage of treatment or further processing in the production process, so that it is listed under a separate NIP heading. This term also covers all stages of finishing the product, such as cleaning, packing, dyeing, quality testing, sorting and the like. 

Industrijske usluge. Pod tim se pojmom podrazumijevaju usluge dorade, popravaka i održavanja te sastavljanja (montaže, odnosno instaliranja). Industrijske usluge iskazuju se u pravilu po svakoj pojedinačnoj vrsti izvršene usluge iz NIP-a, a vrijednost industrijskih usluga iskazuje se u tisućama kuna, uglavnom kao naknada za izvršenu industrijsku uslugu. Bilježe se samo industrijske usluge za koje je izdana posebna faktura. Posebna pravila iskazivanja podataka postoje za određenu vrstu industrijskih usluga u već spomenutim standardima PRODCOM-a. Neke industrijske usluge razvrstane su prema NKD-u 2007. u neindustrijske usluge, npr. Održavanje i popravak motornih vozila (područje G, razred 45.20), Popravak računala i predmeta za osobnu uporabu i kućanstvo (područje S, odjeljak 95), Izdavačke djelatnosti, uključujući izdavanje softvera (područje J, odjeljak 58), Djelatnosti snimanja zvučnih zapisa i izdavanja glazbenih zapisa (područje J, odjeljak 59), Računalno programiranje, savjetovanje i djelatnosti povezane s njima (područje J, odjeljak 62) te Informacijske uslužne djelatnosti, uključujući obradu podataka (područje J, odjeljak 63) te nisu predmet istraživanja IND-21/PRODCOM-a za 2017.

Industrial services. This term covers treatment, repairs and maintenance services as well as assembly work. Industrial services are normally recorded for each service listed in the NIP and their value is expressed in thousands of kuna, mainly as a provision for the rendered service. Only separately invoiced services are recorded. There are special rules for presenting data on each industrial service in the previously mentioned PRODCOM standards. On the other hand, some industrial services are classified according to the NKD 2007. as non-industrial services, e.g. Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (section G, class 45.20), Repair of computers and personal and household goods (section S, division 95), Publishing activities, including software publishing (section J, division 58), Motion picture, video and television programme production, sound recording and music publishing activities (section J, division 59), Computer programming, consultancies and related activities (section J, division 62) and Information service activities, including data processing (section J, division 63) and, therefore, they were not a subject of the 2017 IND-21/PRODCOM Survey.

NIP 2017. jest hijerarhijski strukturirana Nomenklatura industrijskih proizvoda (i usluga) namijenjena mjerenju količine i vrijednosti godišnje industrijske proizvodnje. Ona je verzija PRODCOM Lista detaljno razrađena na nacionalnoj razini. Obuhvaća sve proizvode i usluge koje su rezultat obavljanja djelatnosti iz područja B, C, D i E (samo odjeljak 36) NKD-a 2007. Struktura NIP-a odgovara svim razinama NKD-a 2007., KPD-a 2015. i PRODCOM Lista 2017., s dodatnom detaljnijom nacionalnom raščlambom.  

NIP 2017. is the hierarchically structured Nomenclature of Industrial Products (and services), created for measuring the annual industrial production in volume and value terms. It is a more detailed national version of the PRODCOM List. It covers all products and services resulting from performing activities of the NKD 2007. sections B, C, D and E (only division 36). The NIP structure corresponds at all levels to that of the NKD 2007., KPD 2015. as well as of the PRODCOM List 2017, with a further detailed national breakdown. 

NIP 2017. povezan je s Carinskom tarifom (CT) Republike Hrvatske na isti način kao što je PRODCOM List povezan s Kombiniranom nomenklaturom (CN) EU-a. Redovito se ažurira početkom svake godine prema ažuriranju PRODCOM Lista EU-a. 

The NIP 2017 is linked with the Customs Tariff (CT) of the Republic of Croatia in the same way as the PRODCOM List is linked with the EU Combined Nomenclature (CN). It is regularly updated at the beginning of each year according to the updates of the PRODCOM List. 

PRODCOM je kratica za proizvodne statistike Europske unije za industrijsku proizvodnju koje su određene Uredbom EU-a br. 3924/91. Kratica je izvedena iz francuskog naziva "Production Communautaire" (Proizvodnja u Zajednici). Istraživanje PRODCOM osmišljeno je da osigura informacije o nacionalnim i tržištima EU-a i međunarodnim tržištima. Predmet istraživanja jesu industrijski proizvodi definirani PRODCOM Listom koji se ažurira svake godine. Kako bi se zabilježila međunarodna dimenzija tih tržišta, izrađena je veza proizvodnih statistika i statistika vanjske trgovine tako da je PRODCOM List EU-a usklađen s Kombiniranom nomenklaturom (CN) EU-a za odgovarajuću izvještajnu godinu da bi podaci proizvodnih statistika bili usporedivi s podacima vanjske trgovine na razini proizvoda/roba. To je omogućilo izračunavanje vidljive potrošnje.

PRODCOM is an acronym that stands for the production statistics of the European Union of industrial production that are defined by the EU Regulation No. 3924/91. The acronym was derived from the French title "PRODuction COMmunautaire" (Community Production). The PRODCOM Survey is designed to provide for information on national, European and international markets. It monitors industrial products defined by the PRODCOM List, which is updated every year. In order to reflect the international dimension of these markets, there is a link between production statistics and foreign trade statistics established in such a way that the EU PRODCOM List was harmonised with the EU Combined Nomenclature (CN) for the reference year in question, so that production statistics data can be comparable with foreign trade data on the detailed product/commodity level. It enabled the calculation of apparent consumption.

PRODCOM List jest popis proizvoda, dobara i usluga navedenih u nazivima istraživanja PRODCOM. PRODCOM List 2017.¹⁾ sadržava 3 800 obveznih šifara i naziva koji se u načelu upotrebljavaju za kompilaciju detaljnih proizvodnih statistika EU-a. PRODCOM List 2017.¹⁾ temelji se na CPA-u v.2.12) (= KPD 2015.3)) i povezan je s Kombiniranom nomenklaturom za 2017. (CN 2017.) EU-a preko referentnih oznaka. Nije strukturirana kao hijerarhijska klasifikacija te je zbog toga dobila naziv "popis" iako su proizvodi podijeljeni u "odjeljke" koji se podudaraju s odjeljcima NACE-a Rev. 2 i pokrivaju gotovo sve proizvode i usluge iz područja B i C prema NACE-u. Nazivi istraživanja PRODCOM načelno sadržavaju stavke ili skupine stavaka iz CN-a kako bi omogućili usporedivost podataka vanjske trgovine i proizvodnje te se iz tog razloga ažuriraju na početku svake godine prema promjenama CN-a.

PRODCOM List is a list of products, goods and industrial services listed under the PRODCOM headings. The PRODCOM List for 2017¹⁾ includes 3 800 compulsory codes and headings that are mainly used in the compilation of detailed product statistics of the EU. The PRODCOM List for 2017¹⁾ is based on the version 2.12) (= KPD 2015.3)) and is linked with the Combined Nomenclature (CN 2017) of the EU via reference notes. It is not structured as a hierarchical classification and that is why it is a "list", although products are divided into "divisions" that correspond to the divisions of the NACE Rev. 2 and cover almost all products and services of the NACE sections B and C. In principle, the PRODCOM headings consist of items or groups of items taken over from the CN in order to allow the comparability of foreign trade and production data and, therefore, they have to be updated at the beginning of each year according to changes in the Combined Nomenclature (CN).

Prodana proizvodnja u PRODCOM-u. Pod pojmom "prodana proizvodnja" podrazumijeva se proizvodnja koju su neko vrijeme obavljale statističke jedinice i koja je prodana (fakturirana) u izvještajnoj godini. Količine i vrijednosti prodane proizvodnje na razini proizvoda iz NIP-a obično se bilježe ako su proizvodi isporučeni drugim poduzećima na domaćem tržištu, prodani u vlastitim prodavaonicama ili izvezeni na strana tržišta. Tu se ubrajaju i vlastito proizvedeni proizvodi dani u zakup ili leasing trećim osobama (npr. računalna oprema, telefonske instalacije, perilice). U prodanu proizvodnju uključeni su vlastito proizvedeni gotovi proizvodi (ili usluge) i gotovi proizvodi koje je statistička jedinica proizvela odnosno preradila na temelju ugovora s naručiteljem za treće osobe i obavljala na teritoriju Republike Hrvatske. Nisu uključeni gotovi proizvodi koji su se upotrebljavali (ili su namijenjeni) daljnjoj preradi u lokalnim jedinicama istog poduzeća ni zalihe gotovih proizvoda namijenjenih prodaji.  

Industrial products sold in PRODCOM.  The term "industrial products sold" refers to the production done by statistical units over a period of time that was sold (invoiced) in the reference year. The physical volume and value of industrial products sold are normally recorded for products listed in the NIP if they were sold to other entities on the domestic market, in own shops or exported to international markets. This also includes own-produced products hired out or leased to third parties (e.g. computer equipment, telephone installations, washing machines). Industrial products sold also include finished products (or services) that a statistical unit produced on own account as well as those produced or further processed on a fee or a contract basis for a principal (contract processing) if such production took place on the territory of the Republic of Croatia. It does not include finished products used, or to be used, in further processing in local units of the same enterprise or finished products put on stock to be sold later. 

Vrijednost prodane PRODCOM proizvodnje obračunava se na temelju prodajne cijene koju je ostvario ili će ostvariti proizvođač u izvještajnom razdoblju (fakturirane vrijednosti). U vrijednost prodaje uključeni su i troškovi pakiranja i kada su obračunani (naplaćeni) posebno, a isključeni su sljedeći izdaci: bilo koji obračun poreza na promet i potrošnju (PDV i trošarine), troškovi otpreme kada su obračunani posebno ili bilo koji popusti potrošačima. Za proizvode koji su dani u zakup ili leasing trećim osobama određene su cijene koje su se za njih mogle postići na tržištu kao procijenjene vrijednosti.  

The value of PRODCOM industrial products sold is calculated on the basis of the selling price a producer obtained/will obtain during the reporting period (invoiced values). The value of production includes packaging costs even if they are charged separately, but the following costs are excluded: any turnover tax and consumer tax charged (VAT and excises), separately charged freight costs and any discounts granted to customers. If finished products are hired out or leased to third parties, then prices obtainable on the market for the product in question are defined as estimated values. 

Prerada na temelju ugovora (prema ugovoru s naručiteljem) u smislu PRODCOM-a postoji kada statistička jedinica na temelju ugovora s naručiteljem proizvodi odnosno prerađuje određene proizvode iz
NIP-a i kada naručitelj osigurava sirovine i drugi materijal potreban za tu proizvodnju ili preradu (bez naplate/kupnje). Proizvodnja, odnosno prerada na temelju ugovora jest proizvodnja prema posebnom ugovoru između naručitelja i proizvođača. Za takvu proizvodnju samo proizvođač iskazuje količine ostvarene proizvodnje industrijskih proizvoda prema ugovoru, tj. u zemlji gdje se proizvodnja stvarno obavljala kako bi se izbjeglo dvostruko iskazivanje podataka. U tim slučajevima proizvođač prikazuje proizvodnju pod istom šifrom proizvoda iz NIP-a kao i vlastitu proizvodnju, a za vrijednost prodane proizvodnje iskazuje samo vrijednost naknade za izvršenu uslugu proizvodnje koju je stvarno naplatio od naručitelja. U svakom aranžmanu o proizvodnji odnosno preradi na temelju ugovora naručitelj i proizvođač odnosno prerađivač trebaju pripadati različitim poduzećima (poslovnim subjektima) jer proizvodnja odnosno prerada na temelju ugovora između lokalnih jedinica koje pripadaju istom poduzeću nije moguća prema definicijama Statističkih standarda PRODCOM-a.

Contract processing (contract work). In the PRODCOM sense, the production on a fee or contract basis exists if a statistical unit (contractor) produces or processes particular NIP products ordered by a principal who also supplies, free of charge, the material necessary for that production or processing. The production on a fee or a contract basis is the production carried out under special arrangements between an ordering unit (principal) and a producing unit (contractor). In such a production, only the contractor must report the value of the actual production of industrial products according to the contract, that is, in the country where the production actually took place, in order to avoid double presentation of data. In these cases, the contractor reports the production under the same codes of NIP products as for the production on own account, while, concerning the industrial products sold, he presents only the value of the fee actually paid by a principal for a service of production. In any arrangement for the production or processing on the contract basis, the principal and the producer must belong to different enterprises (business entities), for, according to the definitions of the PRODCOM Statistical Standards, the production or processing on a contract basis between local units belonging to the same enterprise is not possible.

Vidljiva domaća potrošnja izvedeni je pokazatelj izračunan bilanciranjem podataka o prodanim količinama i vrijednostima za 10 najvažnijih pojedinačnih proizvoda iz NIP-a 2017. s podacima o količinama i vrijednostima izvoza/uvoza istih pojedinačnih proizvoda/roba ili agregiranih na razinu istih proizvoda PRODCOM Lista 2017. (izvorno podaci vanjske trgovine agregirani iz Carinske tarife 2017. na razinu Kombinirane nomenklature 2017.). Za potrebe obračuna primijenjena je formula: proizvodnja + uvoz – izvoz. Kriterij važnosti proizvoda NIP-a 2017. s gledišta Republike Hrvatske određen je prema vrijednosti prodaje i izvoza. Podaci su iskazani u fizičkim mjernim jedinicama (količine) i u tisućama kuna (vrijednosno).  

Apparent domestic consumption is a derived indicator calculated by balancing data on industrial products sold in volumes and values for
10 most important NIP 2017. individual products with comparable exports/imports volume and value data for the same products/commodities or their aggregates at the PRODCOM List 2017 level (originally foreign trade data aggregated at the CN 2017 levels using Customs Tariff 2017). The following formula was used in the calculation: production + imports – exports. The importance criterion of the NIP 2017. products for the Republic of Croatia has been defined according to the value of industrial products sold and export. Data are presented in physical measurement units (volume) and in thousands of kuna (value).
