Due to the loosening of the measures introduced to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices, industrial production in the Republic of Croatia in June 2020, compared to May 2020, increased by 7.4%, while compared to June of the previous year, the working-day adjusted industrial production decreased by 1.8%.
According the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009.), the increase was present in four (out of five) aggregates. The largest increase was recorded in Durable consumer goods (CD), of 31.6%, followed by Capital goods (BB), of 11.0%, Intermediate goods (AI), of 9.9%, and Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 9.7%. A decrease was recorded only in Energy (AE), of 1.5%.
Observing the NKD 2007. sections, of a total of 28 sections included in the calculation of the industrial production volume index, 23 sections recorded an increase in industrial production at the monthly level. The largest increase was recorded in section 29 Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (151.9%), while the largest decrease was recorded in section 30 Manufacture of other transport equipment (-35.0%).
