In view of abolishment of epidemiological measures for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic, the working-day adjusted industrial production in June 2022 increased by 3.8% compared to June 2021. Compared to May 2022, the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production increased by 1.2%.
Observing the annual growth rates according to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009), industrial production increased in four out of five aggregates. The largest increase was recorded in Capital goods (BB), of 12.0%, especially in division 30 Manufacture of other transport equipment, of 152.3%. It was followed by an increase in industrial production in Energy (AE), of 9.6%, in Intermediate goods (AI), of 2.2%, and in Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 0.2%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates for the industrial production volume index was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within divisions B, C and D (05.1 – 35.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations:
