The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia in July 2020, as compared to June 2020, increased by 5.6%, while compared to July of the previous year, the working-day adjusted industrial production decreased by 1.6%.
According the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009.), the increase was present in four out of five aggregates. The largest increase was recorded in Durable consumer goods (CD), of 22.5%, followed by Capital goods (BB), of 16.5%, Intermediate goods (AI), of 4.8%, and Energy (AE), of 3.2%. A decrease was recorded only in Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 0.2%.
Observing the NKD 2007. sections, of a total of 28 sections included in the calculation of the industrial production volume index, the highest increase was recorded in the following sections: 30 Manufacture of other transport equipment, of 107.1%, 12 Manufacture of tobacco products, of 50.2%, and 29 Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, of 32.5%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates for the industrial production volume index was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within sections B, C and D (05.1 – 35.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations:
Al Intermediate goods: the NKD 2007. divisions and groups: 07 – 09, 10.6, 10.9, 13.1 – 13.3, 16, 17, 20.1 – 20.3, 20.5, 20.6, 22 – 24, 25.5 – 25.7, 25.9, 26.1, 26.8, 27.1 – 27.4 and 27.9
AE Energy: the NKD 2007. divisions: 05, 06, 19 and 35 (excluding 35.3)
BB Capital goods: the NKD 2007. divisions and groups: 25.1 – 25.4, 26.2, 26.3, 26.5, 26.6, 28, 29, 30.1 – 30.4, 32.5 and 33
CD Consumer durables: the NKD 2007. divisions and groups: 26.4, 26.7, 27.5, 30.9, 31, 32.1 and 32.2
CN Consumer non-durables: the NKD 2007. divisions and groups: 10.1 – 10.5, 10.7, 10.8, 11, 12, 13.9, 14, 15, 18, 20.4, 21, 32.3, 32.4 and 32.9.
