The working-day adjusted industrial production in the Republic of Croatia in July 2021 increased by 3.9% compared to July 2020, thus continuing a positive trend of the recovery of production from the coronacrisis. Compared to June 2021, the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production decreased by 1.6%.
Observing the annual growth rates according to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009), industrial production increased in three out of five aggregates. The largest increase was recorded in Energy (AE), of 13.1%, particularly in division 35 Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, of 8.2%. These were followed by Non-durable consumer goods (CN) with an increase of 4.2% and Capital goods (BB) with an increase of 2.8%. Industrial production decreased in Durable consumer goods (CD), by 4.7%, and in Intermediate goods (AI), by 4.1%.
Observing the NKD 2007. divisions, of a total of 28 divisions included in the calculation of the industrial production volume index, 16 divisions recorded an increase. The largest increase was recorded in division 13 Manufacture of furniture, of 39.9%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates for the industrial production volume index was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within divisions B, C and D (05.1 – 35.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations:
