Almost all epidemiological measures taken to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease were abolished in the Republic of Croatia, so in September 2022 the working-day adjusted industrial production increased by 2.2%, as compared to September last year. Compared to August 2022, the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production increased by 0.4%.
Observing the annual growth rates according to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009), industrial production increased in four out of five aggregates. The largest increase was recorded in Capital goods (BB), of 11.7%, particularly in division 29 Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, of 49.9%. It was followed by an increase in industrial production in Energy (AE), of 4.0%, Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 2.5%, and in Durable consumer goods (CD), of 1.1%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates for the industrial production volume index was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within divisions B, C and D (05.1 – 35.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations:
