Almost all epidemiological measures and recommendations taken to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease were abolished in the Republic of Croatia. The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover in October 2022, as compared to the previous month of the same year, decreased by 1.8%, while the total working-day adjusted industrial turnover increased by 21.0%, as compared to the same month of the previous year.
The sales income increased in all five aggregates of the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009). The largest increase was recorded in Energy (AE), of 24.5%, followed by the increase in these aggregates: Capital goods (BB), of 22.7%, Intermediate goods (AI), of 21.8%, Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 18.8%, and Durable consumer goods (CD), of 11.0%.
Comparing the destination of markets in the same period, the industrial turnover on domestic market increased by 21.2% and on non-domestic market by 20.6%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within sections B and C (05.1 – 33.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations, was done as follows:
