Mild epidemiological measures and recommendations aimed at preventing the spread of the COVID-19 disease were still in force in December 2021, when the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover in the Republic of Croatia decreased by 1.2% compared to November 2021. Compared to December 2020, the total working-day adjusted industrial turnover increased by 20.8%.
According to the Main Industrial Groupings (GIGs 2009), the sales income increased in all five aggregates. The largest increase was recorded in Energy (AE), of 60.5%, followed by the increase in these aggregates: Intermediate goods (AI), of 37.5%, Durable consumer goods (CD), of 30.1%, Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 14.1%, and Capital goods (BB), of 9.7%.
Comparing the destination of markets in the same period, the industrial turnover on domestic market increased by 16.3% and on non-domestic market by 29.5%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within sections B and C (05.1 – 33.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations, was done as follows:
