The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover in the Republic of Croatia in July 2020, as compared to June 2020, increased by 0.7%, while the total working-day adjusted industrial turnover decreased by 10.9% as compared to the same month of the previous year. This points to the fact that, despite further easing of the measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, industrial turnover did not reach last year's level.
Observing at the month-on-month level, the upward trend continued in July 2020. The increase in sales income was present in four out of five aggregates. According to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009), the largest increase, of 12.8%, was recorded again in Durable consumer goods (CD), in the manufacture of furniture section. The increase was also recorded in Capital goods (BB), of 4.3%, Intermediate goods (AI), of 1.5%, and Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 1.0%.
Comparing by the destination of markets, in the same period, an increase of 2.2% was recorded on the domestic market and of 2.1% on the non-domestic market.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within sections B and C (05.1 – 33.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations, was done as follows:
