The total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover in the Republic of Croatia in September 2020, as compared to August 2020, increased by 4.7%. The total working-day adjusted industrial turnover in September 2020, as compared to September 2019, decreased by 4.5%. Despite the mild epidemiological measures in September 2020, introduced to prevent the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, industrial turnover was still lower than in the same period last year.
As regards the Main Industrial Groupings (GIGs 2009), the decrease in sales income was present in three out of five aggregates. The largest decrease was recorded in Energy (AE), of 49.4%, Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 2.3%, and in Intermediate goods (AI), of 0.3%. The turnover increased in Capital goods (BB) by 13.4% and in Durable consumer goods (CD) by 3.2%.
Comparing the destination of markets in the same period, the decrease on the domestic market amounted to 2.4% and on the non-domestic market to 4.4%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within sections B and C (05.1 – 33.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations, was done as follows:
