Mild epidemiological measures and recommendations aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 disease were in force in September 2021, when the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover in the Republic of Croatia increased by 1.2% compared to August 2021, while the total working-day adjusted industrial turnover increased by 18.2% compared to September 2020.
The sales income increased in all five aggregates. According to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs 2009), the largest increase, of 104.9%, was recorded in Energy (AE), followed by Intermediate goods (AI), of 22.1%, Durable consumer goods (CD), of 11.4%, Non-durable consumer goods (CN), of 10.3%, and Capital goods (BB) of 7.2%.
Comparing the destination of markets in the same period, the industrial turnover on domestic market increased by 16.8% and on non-domestic market by 20.2%.
The calculation of the MIGs 2009. aggregates was done by grouping of the NKD 2007. activities at the level of groups or divisions within sections B and C (05.1 – 33.2) as follows, using alphabetic marks of abbreviations, was done as follows:
