According to provisional data, there were 856 marriages in February 2023, which was a decrease of 3.4%, that is, there were 30 less marriages compared to the five-year average (2015 − 2019) for the same month.

Observing the period since the COVID-19 epidemic was officially declared in the Republic of Croatia, the number of marriages decreased by 11.1% in the period from March 2020 to February 2023 compared to the five-year average for the same period, that is, there were 6 670 less marriages.

The graph shows data on the number of marriages by months from January 2020 to February 2023 and the average number of marriages for the period 2015 − 2019 by months. Data for 2022 and 2023 are provisional.
