On the entry in the Register of Business Entities, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics issues to business entities and parts thereof the Notification on the Classification of Business Entities according to the NKD 2007.
The Croatian Bureau of Statistics issues identification numbers and the Notification on classification according to the NKD 2007., but not for crafts, trades and free lances. Therefore, we kindly ask you to contact the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, which keeps the Crafts Register.
How can crafts, trades and free lances obtain the Notification on classification according to the NKD 2007.?
The Croatian Bureau of Statistics is not competent to assign identification numbers in the aforementioned case.
The identification number will be assigned to a craft, trade and free lance by the body who registered it or whose member it is, if it meets the criteria for obtaining identification numbers defined by the aforementioned body.

Foreign associations are not registered in the Register of Business Entities kept by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics and are not assigned a NKD code.

The National Classification of Activities 2007 NKD 2007. is completely harmonised with the EU standard NACE Rev. 2 Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community. It means that the NKD 2007. code is the same in all Member States and the translation is not needed.
