U Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od siječnja do prosinca 2010. u odnosu na isto razdoblje prethodne godine u svim komercijalnim smještajnim objektima ostvareno je 3,2% više dolazaka i 2,6% više noćenja turista.	In the period from January to December 2010, as compared to the same period of 2009, the number of tourist arrivals in all accommodation facilities in the Republic of Croatia increased by 3.2% and the number of tourist nights by 2.6%.
Turisti su ostvarili 56 416 379 noćenja, od čega su 9,6% ostvarili domaći, a 90,4% strani turisti.	Tourists realised 56 416 379 tourist nights: 9.6% by domestic and 90.4% by foreign tourists.
U razdoblju od siječnja do prosinca 2010. u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2009. broj noćenja domaćih turista manji je za 5,8%, a broj noćenja stranih turista veći je za 3,6%.	In the period from January to December 2010, the number of domestic tourist nights decreased by 5.8%, while that of foreign tourist nights increased by 3.6%, as compared to the same period of 2009.
U strukturi noćenja stranih turista najviše noćenja ostvarili su turisti iz Njemačke (22,5%), Slovenije (11,5%), Italije (9,3%), Austrije (8,7%), Češke (8,2%), Poljske (5,7%), Nizozemske (4,4%) te Slovačke (4,1%), što je ukupno 74,4%.	Concerning the structure of foreign tourist nights, the most of them (74.4%) were realised by tourists from Germany (22.5%), Slovenia (11.5%), Italy (9.3%), Austria (8.7%), the Czech Republic (8.2%), Poland (5.7%), the Netherlands (4.4%) and Slovakia (4.1%).
Turisti iz ostalih zemalja ostvarili su 25,6% noćenja.	Tourists from other countries realised 25.6% of tourist nights.

METODOLOŠKA OBJAŠNJENJA				NOTES ON METHODOLOGY

Podaci o turističkom prometu (broj dolazaka i noćenja turista) prikupljeni su redovitim mjesečnim izvještajem (obrazac TU-11). Izvještaji se sastavljaju na temelju evidencija u knjigama gostiju.				Data on turnover of tourists (number of tourist arrivals and tourist nights) are collected from regular monthly report (TU-11 form). Reports are usually made on the basis of reception records in guest books.

Metodologija za ovo istraživanje temelji se na preporukama Eurostata i Svjetske turističke organizacije (WTO).				The methodology of this survey is based on the recommendations of Eurostat and the World Tourism Organization (WTO).
Izvještajne jedinice jesu svi poslovni subjekti (poduzeća/trgovačka društva, obrtnici, zadruge, ustanove, udruge itd.) i njihovi dijelovi koji obavljaju djelatnost pružanja usluga smještaja turistima; zdravstvene ustanove za svoje objekte u kojima osobe borave radi medicinske rehabilitacije (osobe same snose naknadu za taj boravak); poslovni subjekti i njihovi dijelovi koji se bave posredovanjem u pružanju smještajnih usluga (putničke agencije); poslovni subjekti koji se bave posredovanjem u smještaju gostiju u seoskim kućanstvima; turističke zajednice i druga ovlaštena tijela za privatne sobe, apartmane ili kuće koje neposredno iznajmljuju građani/kućanstva; poslovni subjekti i njihovi dijelovi za svoja odmarališta; poslovni subjekti koji su osnovali ili vode brigu i nadzor nad planinarskim domovima; poslovni subjekti koji se za vrijeme školskih praznika koriste školama, domovima i sličnim objektima kao privremenim smještajnim kapacitetima; poslovni subjekti spavaći i kušet-vagoni i poslovni subjekti riječnog i pomorskog prometa (samo redovite linije).				Reporting units are all business entities (enterprises/trade companies, craftsmen, co-operatives, institutions, associations, etc.) and parts thereof engaged in providing accommodation services in tourism: health institutions for their facilities in which persons stay for medical rehabilitation (costs are on persons themselves); business entities and parts thereof engaged in tourists' stay in rural households; tourist boards and other bodies competent for private rooms, apartments or summer houses directly rented by private persons/households; business entities and parts thereof for their vacation facilities; business entities that founded or take care of mountain resorts; business entities that use schools, homes and similar facilities as temporary vacation facilities during school vacations; business entities sleeping cars and couchettes and business entities in river and sea water transport (only scheduled lines).
Smještajni objekti razvrstavaju se prema Pravilniku o razvrstavanju, minimalnim uvjetima i kategorizaciji ugostiteljskih objekata (NN, br. 57/95., 110/96., 24/97., 61/98., 137/98., 19/99., 39/99., 52/99., 43/00., 52/00., 57/00., 63/00., 18/01., 33/01., 48/02., 108/02., 132/03., 175/03., 73/04., 106/04., 84/05., 12/06. i 67/06.).				All accommodation facilities are categorised according to the Regulation on Classification, Minimum Standards and Categorization of Accommodation Facilities (NN, Nos. 57/95, 110/96, 24/97, 61/98, 137/98, 19/99, 39/99, 52/99, 43/00, 52/00, 57/00, 63/00, 18/01, 33/01, 48/02, 108/02, 132/03, 175/03, 73/04, 106/04, 84/05, 12/06 and 67/06).
Svi objekti koji nisu kategorizirani u skladu s tim pravilnikom nalaze se u skupini Nekategorizirani objekti.				All facilities that have not been categorised according to the mentioned Regulation can be found in the category Uncategorised facilities.
Smještajni objekti jesu: hoteli, aparthoteli, turistička naselja, turistički apartmani, pansioni, guest house, kampovi, kamp-naselja, kampirališta, kamp-odmorišta, sobe za iznajmljivanje, apartman, studio-apartman, kuće za odmor, prenoćišta, odmarališta, hosteli, planinarski domovi, lovački domovi, učenički ili studentski domovi i slično (kad su u njima smješteni turisti), objekti za robinzonski smještaj, gostionice i kućanstva.			Accommodation facilities are: hotels, all-suite hotels, tourist resorts, tourist apartments, boarding houses, guest houses, camping sites, small camps, quickstop camping, rooms to let, suite, studio-type suites, summer houses, overnight accommodations, vacation facilities, hostels, mounting lodges, hunting lodges, pupil or student homes and the like (for tourist accommodation), facilities used in Robinson tourism, inns, households.
Objekti za smještaj dijele se na kolektivne i privatne.			Accommodation facilities are divided into collective and private ones.
Kolektivni smještajni objekti jesu objekti koji pružaju uslugu smještaja turistima u sobi ili nekoj drugoj jedinici, ali broj mjesta koja osiguravaju mora biti veći od određenog minimuma za skupine osoba koje premašuju jednu obitelj, više od 10 soba odnosno više od 20 postelja. Sva mjesta u objektu moraju biti pod istim zajedničkim komercijalnim tipom rukovođenja čak i ako objekt ne stvara profit.			Collective accommodation facilities are those providing overnights for tourists in rooms or other units, but the number of vacancies should be larger than the specified minimum for groups of persons exceeding a single family unit, that is, more than 20 beds. The space inside the facility should be commonly and commercially managed even if the facility is not making a profit.
Privatni smještajni objekti prema Zakonu o ugostiteljskoj djelatnosti (NN, br. 149/03.) jesu objekti u kojima se pruža ograničen broj mjesta koji ne prelazi utvrđeni nacionalni minimum (do ukupno 10 soba, tj. do najviše 20 postelja za sobe, apartmane i kuće za odmor te za kampove u kućanstvima za najviše 10 smještajnih jedinica, odnosno 30 gostiju istodobno) za kapacitet objekta.			Private accommodation facilities, according to the Hotel and Restaurant Activity Act (NN, No 149/03), provide a limited number of vacancies not exceeding the national minimum for facility capacity (up to 10 rooms, that is, up to 20 beds for rooms, apartments and summer houses and camping sites in households for up to 10 accommodation units, that is, 30 guests at the same time).
Osim ugostiteljskih objekata za smještaj reguliranih Pravilnikom, ovim statističkim istraživanjem obuhvaćaju se i sljedeći objekti koji pružaju usluge smještaja: lječilišta, brodske kabine, spavaći i kušet-vagoni te nekategorizirani objekti.			Save the accommodation facilities categorised by the Regulation, this Release adds to the category in question the following: spas, vessel cabins, sleeping cars and couchettes as well as uncategorised facilities.
Prvi rezultati ovog istraživanja koji se objavljuju na internetskim stranicama Državnog zavoda za statistiku posljednjega radnog dana u mjesecu mogu se razlikovati od konačnih podataka u ovom priopćenju.			First results of this Survey published on the web site of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics on the last working day in a month may differ from the final data issued in this Release.
Zbog stalnog procesa kategorizacije te promjena u vrstama i kategorijama smještajnih objekata, zbroj objavljenih mjesečnih podataka može se razlikovati od kumulativnih podataka.			Due to a continuous process of categorisation and changes in types and categories of accommodation facilities, the sum of issued monthly data and cumulative data may differ.
Od 2010. luke nautičkog turizma nisu više ni izvještajne jedinice ni vrsta smještajnog objekta u mjesečnom istraživanju o dolascima i noćenjima turista. Razlog tomu je provedba novog Zakona o boravišnoj pristojbi, koji propisuje način prijave boravka turista na plovnim objektima (NN, br. 152/08. i 59/09.).			Since 2010, nautical ports have no longer been considered reporting units or types of accommodation facilities in the monthly survey on tourist arrivals and nights. This happened because of the implementation of the new Sojourn Tax Act (NN, Nos 152/08 and 59/09), which prescribes how to report sojourns on vessels.
Zbog spomenute promjene metodologije uvjetovane primjenom novih zakonskih regulativa u praćenju turista, podaci za 2009. su revidirani kako bi bili usporedivi s 2010. (isključene su luke nautičkog turizma).			Due to the mentioned change in methodology caused by the implementation of the new legal basis of monitoring the tourists, data for 2009 were revised so they can be comparable to 2010 data (nautical ports were excluded).
Obuhvat			Coverage
Istraživanjem su obuhvaćene sve pravne osobe i njihovi dijelovi, fizičke osobe te kućanstva koja iznajmljuju smještajne objekte turistima.			Reports cover all legal entities and parts thereof and natural persons as well as households that rent accommodation facilities to tourists.
Podacima nije obuhvaćen nekomercijalni turistički promet (boravak vlasnika, članova njihovih obitelji i prijatelja u kućama i stanovima za odmor), koji se prati posebnim statističkim istraživanjem (obrazac TU-11v).			Data do not include non-commercial tourist turnover (the stay of owners and their relatives and friends in villas and summer houses). This is covered by a separate statistical survey (TU-11v form).
Definicije			Definitions
Turist je svaka osoba koja u mjestu izvan svog prebivališta provede najmanje jednu noć u ugostiteljskom ili drugom objektu za smještaj turista radi odmora ili rekreacije, zdravlja, studija, sporta, religije, porodice, poslova, javnih misija ili skupova. U turiste se ne uključuju migranti, pogranični radnici, diplomati, članovi vojnih snaga na redovitim zadacima, prognanici i nomadi.			Tourist is every person who, outside his/her place of permanent residence, spends at least one night in a hotel or some other accommodation facility for reasons of rest, recreation, health, study, sport, religion, family, business, public tasks or meeting. Excluded are migrants, borderline workers, diplomats, military force members on their regular duties, displaced persons and nomads.
Prebivalište je mjesto u kojem se osoba nastanila s namjerom da u njemu stalno živi.			Residence is a place where a person came with the intention of permanent stay.
Turist je registriran u svakome mjestu ili objektu u kojem boravi. Zbog toga u slučaju promjene mjesta ili objekta dolazi do njegova ponovnog bilježenja i time do dvostrukosti u podacima.			Tourist is registered in every place or facility where he stays and, therefore, in case he/she changes the place or facility, he/she must register again, which results in data ambiguity.
Prema tome, statistika evidentira broj dolazaka turista, a ne broj turista.			Consequently, the statistics register the number of tourist arrivals and not the number of tourists.
Domaći turist jest svaka osoba s prebivalištem u Republici Hrvatskoj koja u nekome mjestu u Republici Hrvatskoj izvan mjesta svog prebivališta provede najmanje jednu noć u ugostiteljskom ili drugom objektu za smještaj turista.			Domestic tourist is a person with permanent residence in the Republic of Croatia who spends at least one night in a hotel or some other accommodation facility in any place in the Republic of Croatia, but outside their place of residence.
Strani turist jest svaka osoba s prebivalištem izvan Republike Hrvatske koja privremeno boravi u Republici Hrvatskoj i provede najmanje jednu noć u ugostiteljskom ili drugom objektu za smještaj turista.			Foreign tourist is every person with permanent residence outside of the Republic of Croatia who temporarily resides in the Republic of Croatia and who spends at least one night in a hotel or some other accommodation facility.
Smještajni kapaciteti prikazuju se kao broj soba, apartmana i mjesta za kampiranje i broj postelja. Prikazuje se broj stalnih postelja.			Accommodation capacities are presented as a number of rooms, apartments and camping sites and the number of beds. The number of beds includes permanent beds.
Stalne postelje jesu postelje koje su redovito pripremljene za iznajmljivanje gostima.			Permanent beds are regularly ready-made for renting to guests.

Podaci po županijama, gradovima i općinama objavljeni su po teritorijalnom ustroju na temelju Zakona o područjima županija, gradova i općina u Republici Hrvatskoj (NN, br. 86/06.).			Data on counties, cities and municipalities are given by territorial constitution according to the Law on County, City and Municipality Areas in the Republic of Croatia (NN, No. 86/06).
