Prema podacima Državnog zavoda za statistiku, promet uslužnih djelatnosti u svibnju 2020. pao je na godišnjoj razini¹⁾, a porastao na mjesečnoj razini²⁾ zbog postupnog ukidanja epidemioloških mjera radi sprečavanja pandemije bolesti COVID-19.		According to the data of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, the turnover from service activities in May 2020 decreased at the annual level¹⁾ and increased at the monthlylevel²⁾ due to the phasing out of epidemiological measures introduced to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ukupan sezonski i kalendarski prilagođen promet od uslužnih djelatnosti ostvaren u svibnju 2020. porastao za 18,0% u odnosu na travanj 2020.		*The total seasonally and working-day adjusted turnover from service activities realised in May 2020 increased by 18.0%, as compared to April 2020*

Najveći porast prometa ostvaren je u sljedećim djelatnostima: Trgovina na veliko i na malo motornim vozilima i motociklima; popravak motornih vozila i motocikla (za 102,6%), Djelatnosti pripreme i usluživanja hrane i pića (za 23,2%) te Trgovina na malo, osim trgovine motornim vozilima i motociklima (za 21,0%).		The highest increase in the turnover was recorded in the following activities: Wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (by 102.6%), Food and beverage service activities (by 23.2%) and Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (by 21.0%).

Najveći pad prometa ostvaren je u sljedećim djelatnostima: Smještaj (za 20,6%), Uredske administrativne i pomoćne djelatnosti te ostale poslovne pomoćne djelatnosti (za 15,8%) te Ostale stručne, znanstvene i tehničke djelatnosti (za 15,5%).		The highest decrease in the turnover was recorded in the following activities: Accommodation (by 20.6%), Office administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 15.8% ) and Other professional, scientific and technical activities (by 15.5%)

Ukupan kalendarski prilagođen promet od uslužnih djelatnosti ostvaren u svibnju 2020. pao za 21,2% u odnosu na svibanj 2020.		*The total working-day adjusted turnover from service activities released in May 2020 decreased by 21.2% as compared to May 2020*

Najveći pad prometa ostvaren je u sljedećim djelatnostima: Putničke agencije, organizatori putovanja (turoperatori) i ostale rezervacijske usluge te djelatnosti povezane s njima (za 94,1%) Smještaj (za 91,5%) te Djelatnosti pripreme i usluživanja hrane i pića (za 58,5%).		The highest decrease in the turnover was recorded in the following activities: Travel agency, tour operator reservation services and related activities (by 94.1%), Accommodation (by 91.5%) and Food and beverage service activities (by 58.5%).

Porast prometa ostvaren je samo u djelatnosti Računalno programiranje, savjetovanje i djelatnosti povezane s njima (za 7,4%).		The increase in the turnover was recorded only in the Computer programming, consultancy and related activities (by 7.4%).

Promatrajući prvih pet mjeseci, kalendarski prilagođeni promet uslužnih djelatnosti u padu je za 11,9% u odnosu na isto razdoblje prethodne godine.		Observing the first five months, the working-day adjusted turnover from service activities decreased by 11.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Priopćenje 4.1.2. Uslužne djelatnosti objavljuje se od siječnja 2019. u mjesečnoj periodici umjesto dotadašnjeg Priopćenja, koje se objavljivalo u tromjesečnoj periodici.		The First Release 4.1.2. Service Activities has been published in monthly dynamics since January 2019. It replaced the previous First Release, which was published in quarterly dynamics.

Od siječnja 2020. Priopćenje 4.1.2. Distributivna trgovina i ostale usluge promijenilo je naslov u Uslužne djelatnosti.		Since January 2020, the First Release 4.1.2. Distributive Trade and Other Services has changed its title to Service Activities.

Vremenske serije indeksa prometa uslužnih djelatnosti objavljuju se na internetskim stranicama Državnog zavoda za statistiku www.dzs.hr u STS bazi podataka (bazi kratkoročnih poslovnih statistika) u području Uslužne djelatnosti pod naslovom Indeksi prometa uslužnih djelatnosti − mjesečni podaci kao i Indeksi prometa uslužnih djelatnosti − tromjesečni podaci na poveznici https://stsbaza.dzs.hr/Report?dt=9 te na poveznici Statistika u nizu pod naslovom Gospodarstvo – osnovni pokazatelji.		The time series of the turnover indices of service activities are published on the web site of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics www.dzs.hr in the STS Database (Short-Term Business Statistics Database) in the area Services under the headings Turnover indices of services activities − monthly data, and Turnover indices of services activities − quarterly data, on the link https://stsbaza.dzs.hr/en/Report?dt=9 and within Statistics in Line* under the title* Economy – Basic Indicators.

Točni datumi objavljivanja navedeni su u Kalendaru objavljivanja statističkih podataka 2020., koji se nalazi na internetskim stranicama Državnog zavoda za statistiku www.dzs.hr.		Accurate dissemination dates are listed in the Calendar of Statistical Data Issues for 2020, which is available on the web site of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics: www.dzs.hr.

Dio podataka iz ovog Priopćenja, a to su mjesečni indeksi na bazi 2015., kalendarski prilagođeni, sezonski i kalendarski prilagođeni i neprilagođeni, redovito se mjesečno i tromjesečno dostavljaju Eurostatu i dostupni su na Eurostatovim internetskim stranicama http//ec.europa.eu/eurostat, s pokazateljima svih država članica EU-a s kojima su usporedivi.		A part of the data in this First Release, particularly relating to monthly indices on the 2015 base, working-day adjusted, seasonally and working-day adjusted and unadjusted are regularly submitted on the monthly and quarterly basis to the Eurostat and are available on the Eurostat’s web site http//ec.europa.eu/eurostat, together with the indicators of all EU Member States they are comparable to.


Izvori i metode prikupljanja podataka		*Sources and methods of data collection*

Podaci iz ovog Priopćenja rezultat su redovitog istraživanja Mjesečni izvještaj uslužnih djelatnosti (obrazac USL-M) te administrativnih izvora podataka (datoteke prijava poreza na dodanu vrijednost Porezne uprave), osim podataka za djelatnost trgovine na malo (odjeljak G 47), koji su dobiveni Mjesečnim izvještajem trgovine na malo (obrazac TRG-1).		The data in this First Release are based on the Monthly Report on Service Activities (USL-M form) and administrative data sources (databases of value added tax reports of the Tax Administration), except data on retail trade activities (division G 47), which were calculated on the basis of the Monthly Report on Retail Trade (TRG-1 form).

Podaci se prikupljaju s pomoću internetske aplikacije (tzv. CAWI). Izvještajne jedinice neposredno ispunjavaju podatke na e-obrascu USL-M, koji se nalazi na internetskim stranicama Državnog zavoda za statistiku www.dzs.hr. Razdoblje prikupljanja podataka svakog mjeseca u pravilu se kreće od 1. do 25. u mjesecu za podatke iz prethodnoga izvještajnog mjeseca.		The data are collected via a web-based application (the so-called CAWI). The reporting units enter data directly into the USL-M form, which is available on the web site of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics at www.dzs.hr. The period for data collection ranges each month, as a rule, between the 1st and the 25th day in a month for the previous reference month data.

Metodologija za istraživanje temelji se na Uredbi Vijeća (EZ) br. 1165/98 o kratkoročnim statistikama (Dodatak D) te njezinim izmjenama i dopunama. Istraživanje se provodi na temelju Zakona o službenoj statistici (NN, br. 25/20.).		The methodology for this survey is based on the Council Regulation (EC) No 1165/98 (Annex D) concerning short-term statistics and its amendments. This survey is conducted on the basis of the Official Statistics Act (NN, No. 25/20).

Osnovna je svrha istraživanja mjerenje dinamike kretanja prometa u uslužnim djelatnostima.		The survey is mainly aimed at measuring turnover changes in service activities.


Obuhvat i usporedivost		*Coverage and comparability*

Istraživanje se provodi metodom uzorka.		The survey is carried out by using the sampling method.

Uzorak se bira jedanput na godinu, a bazira se na informacijama o veličini i godišnjem prometu poslovnih subjekata za prethodnu godinu.		The sample is selected once a year. It is based on size and on annual turnover of business entities for the previous year.

Iz Statističkoga poslovnog registra (SPR-a) uključuju se sva srednje velika i velika poduzeća (veličine 5, 6 i 7). Jedinice koje su u SPR-u označene kao male jedinice, ali prema prometu prelaze zadani prag također se uključuju u uzorak.		All medium-sized and large enterprises (sizes 5, 6 and 7) are taken over from the Statistical Business Register. Units marked in the Register as small ones are also included if they exceed the determined threshold according to the turnover.

Između jedinica izabranih u uzorak bira se podskup jedinica koje će biti uključene u redovito istraživanje (obrazac USL-M). Kriterij za izbor utvrđen je prema određenom pragu prometa koji treba biti pokriven ovim jedinicama.		A subset of units that will be included into the regular survey (USL-M form) is selected from all units selected in the sample. A selection criterion has been determined according to a particular turnover threshold, which has to be covered by those units.

Ukupna veličina uzorka jest oko 12 000 jedinica, a od toga se oko 900 jedinica nalazi u redovitom Mjesečnom istraživanju uslužnih djelatnosti (obrazac USL-M).		The total sample consists of about 12 000 units, of which about 900 of them are included in the regular Monthly Report on Service Activities (USL-M form).

Pretežna djelatnost određena je za svaki poslovni subjekt u skladu s NKD-om 2007. (NN, br. 58/07. i 123/08.).		The main activity is defined for each business entity according to the NKD 2007. (NN, Nos 58/07 and 123/08).

Kriterij za određivanje veličine poslovnog subjekta jest broj zaposlenih. Poslovni subjekti veličine 1 jesu oni s 0 – 4 zaposlenih, veličine 2 s 5 – 9 zaposlenih, veličine 3 s 10 – 19 zaposlenih, veličine 4 s 20 – 49 zaposlenih, veličine 5 s 50 – 99 zaposlenih, veličine 6 sa 100 – 249 zaposlenih i veličine 7 s 250 i više zaposlenih.		The criterion for determining the size of a business entity is the number of persons in employment. Business entities of size 1 are those employing 0 – 4 persons, of size 2 those employing 5 – 9 persons, of size 3 those employing 10 – 19 persons, of size 4 those employing 20 – 49 persons, of size 5 those employing 50 – 99 persons, of size 6 those employing 100 – 249 persons and of size 7 those employing 250 and more persons.

Jedinice promatranja u Mjesečnom izvještaju uslužnih djelatnosti (USL-M) jesu poslovni subjekti koji su prema glavnoj djelatnosti registrirani u sljedećim područjima NKD-a 2007.:		Observation units in the Monthly Report on Service Activities (USL-M form) are business entities that are registered by their main activity in the following sections of the NKD 2007. :
G	Trgovina na veliko i malo; popravak motornih vozila i motocikla (osim odjeljka 47)	G	Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (except division 47),
H	Prijevoz i skladištenje	H	Transportation and storage,
I	Djelatnost pružanja smještaja te pripreme i usluživanja hrane i pića	I	Accommodation and food service activities,
J	Informacije i komunikacije	J	Information and communication,
L	Poslovanje nekretninama	L	Real estate activities,

Od prvog tromjesečja 2016. obrađuju se i objavljuju indeksi prometa za tri nove uslužne djelatnosti koje nisu obuhvaćene Uredbom EU-a o kratkoročnim statistikama: L 68 Poslovanje nekretninama, N 77 Djelatnosti iznajmljivanja i davanja u zakup (leasing) i N 81 Usluge u vezi s upravljanjem i održavanjem zgrada te djelatnosti uređenja i održavanja krajolika. Stoga se ne nalaze u ukupnom prometu usluga (G − N), a obuhvaćene su komentarom.		Since the first quarter of 2016, three new service activities have been published that are not covered by EU Council Regulation concerning short-term statistics: L 68 Real estate activities, N 77 Rental and leasing activities and N 81 Services to buildings and landscape activities. Therefore they are not included in the total turnover of services (G – N), but are covered in a commentary.


Prezentacija indeksa		*Index presentation*

Prezentacija i interpretacija indeksa u ovom Priopćenju potpuno je usklađena sa zahtjevima Eurostata za prikazivanje kratkoročnih poslovnih pokazatelja te Uredbom Vijeća (EZ) o kratkoročnim statistikama br. 1165/98 i njezinim izmjenama i dopunama.		The presentation and interpretation of indices in this First Release has been entirely harmonised with Eurostat´s requirements for the presentation of short-term business indicators and with the Council Regulation (EC) No. 1165/98 on short-term statistics as well as its amendments.


Metoda sezonske i kalendarske prilagodbe		*Seasonal and working-day adjustment method*

Od 2016. za proces sezonske prilagodbe (identifikaciju i procjenu sezonskih i kalendarskih učinaka) primijenjen je programski paket JDemetra+. Sezonsko i kalendarsko prilagođavanje provedeno je metodom X13 ARIMA. U sezonskoj prilagodbi vremenskih serija indeksa isključen je utjecaj slučajne sastavnice.		Since 2016, in the process of seasonal adjustment (identification and evaluation of seasonal and calendar effects), the software package JDemetra+ was used. Seasonal and working-day adjustment has been done by using the X13 ARIMA method. The effect of a random component in the seasonal adjustment process of the time series of indices has been excluded.

Zbog svojstava primijenjene metode prilagodbe dodavanjem novih mjesečnih podataka u seriji može doći do promjene sezonski i kalendarski prilagođenih indeksa za prethodna razdoblja. Za procjenu kalendarske komponente, odnosno učinka radnih dana i blagdana koristi se službeni popis blagdana i neradnih dana u Republici Hrvatskoj.		Due to the character of the implemented adjustment method, the adding of new monthly observations for each quarter may cause changes in the seasonally and working-day adjusted indices for previous periods. The official list of holidays and non-working days in the Republic of Croatia is used to assess the working-day component, that is, to assess the effect of working days and holidays.


Sezonski i kalendarski prilagođeni indeksi		*Seasonally and working-day adjusted indices*

Ovaj pojam podrazumijeva da su izvorni indeksi prilagođeni i za sezonu i za kalendarske dane. Podaci koji se uspoređuju s podacima iz prethodnog mjeseca prikazuju se u sezonski i kalendarski prilagođenu obliku indeksa prometa ili iz njih izračunanih stopa rasta.		This term is used to indicate that gross indices are adjusted for both seasonal and working-day effects. The data that are compared to those of the previous month are presented in a seasonally and working-day adjusted form of turnover indices or growth rates calculated from them.


Kalendarski prilagođeni indeksi		*Working-day adjusted indices*

Ovaj pojam podrazumijeva da su izvorni indeksi prilagođeni za kalendarske dane. Podaci koji se uspoređuju s podacima od istog mjeseca prethodne godine (tj. godišnja usporedba) prikazuju se u kalendarski prilagođenom obliku indeksa prometa ili iz njih izračunanih stopa rasta.		This term is used to indicate that gross indices are adjusted only for working-day effects. The data compared to those of the same month of a previous year (that is, annual comparison) are presented in a working-day adjusted form of turnover indices or growth rates calculated from them.


Izvorni, neprilagođeni indeksi		*Gross, unadjusted indices*

Ovaj pojam podrazumijeva da indeksi nisu prilagođeni ni za sezonu ni za kalendarske dane. Ti se indeksi objavljuju, ali se posebno ne komentiraju.		This term is used to indicate that indices are not adjusted for seasonal and working-day effects. Gross, unadjusted indices are published, but they are not commented in particular.

Indeksi su iskazani u nominalnom izrazu, tj. iz njih nije isključen utjecaj promjene cijena.		Indices are presented as gross, non-deflated indices, that is, the price change effect is not excluded from them.


Definicije		*Definitions*

Promet (poslovni prihod) je vrijednost svih prodanih roba i obavljenih usluga na tržištu tijekom promatranog razdoblja bez obzira na to jesu li naplaćene ili nisu. Iz prometa je isključen porez na dodanu vrijednost.		Turnover (business revenue) is the value of all goods sold and services provided on the market during the reference period, irrespective of whether they are paid for or not. Value added tax is excluded.

Poslovni subjekti u Mjesečnom izvještaju uslužnih djelatnosti iskazuju ukupan promet (poslovni prihod) koji ostvare i od glavne i od sporednih djelatnosti koje obavljaju.		Business entities on the Monthly Report on Service Activities report their total turnover (business revenue) generated from their main as well as from their secondary activities.

Indeksi prometa izračunani iz datoteka poreza na dodanu vrijednost dobiveni su iz podataka o ukupnim (oporezivim i neoporezivim) isporukama. Isporuke u datotekama poreza na dodanu vrijednost ne moraju uvijek odgovarati definiciji prometa koja se primjenjuje u statističkim istraživanjima, što utječe na usporedivost podataka.		The turnover indices calculated from the value added tax databases have been obtained from the data on total deliveries (both taxable and non-taxable ones). Deliveries recorded in the value added tax databases may differ from the definition of turnover applied in statistical surveys, which affects the comparability of data.
