Utjecaj krize zbog koronavirusa na kazališta u sezoni 2019./2020.	The impact of the crisis due to coronavirus on theatres in the 2019/2020 season
U sezoni od 1. rujna 2019. do 31. kolovoza 2020. ukupno je radilo 160 kazališta. Dio profesionalnih kazališta unutar kuće ili na drugoj lokaciji imao je stalne scene, tako da je uz 89 profesionalnih kazališta radilo i 9 stalnih scena. Profesionalnih kazališta za djecu bilo je 31. Od toga je bilo 9 lutkarskih kazališta. Radilo je i 40 amaterskih kazališta. Zbog krize prouzročene pandemijom bolesti COVID-19 i zatvaranja svih javnih objekata u proljeće 2020. pao je broj aktivnih profesionalnih kazališta i amaterskih kazališta. Broj amaterskih kazališta pao je 12% u odnosu na sezonu prije. Dječja profesionalna kazališta ostala su jednako aktivna kao i prethodnih godina.	A total of 160 theatres operated from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2020. A part of professional theatres had permanent scenes at their disposal, either in-house ones or those located somewhere else. Therefore, along with 89 professional theatres, there were 9 operating permanent scenes. In addition, there were 31 professional children’s theatres, out of which there were 9 puppet theatres. There were also 40 operating amateurs’ theatres. Due to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of all public institutions in spring 2020, the number of active professional and amateurs’ theatres decreased. The number of amateurs’ theatres decreased by 12% compared to the previous season. Professional children’s theatres remained as active as in the previous years.
Teška sezona izvedbenih umjetnosti najmanje je pogodila profesionalna kazališta za djecu	A difficult season for performing arts affected professional children’s theatres the least
Izvedena je ukupno 8 861 predstava. Na predstavama je bilo 1 405 705 posjetitelja. Po jednome profesionalnom kazalištu, uključujući scene, prosječno je izvedeno 50 predstava s prosječno 194 posjetitelja po predstavi. U svim kazalištima izvedeno je 1 559 djela. Od toga je 1 030 djela domaćih autora, odnosno njih 66%.	A total of 8 861 plays were performed. The plays were attended by 1 405 705 visitors. The average number of plays per professional theatre, including permanent scenes, was 50, while the average attendance per play was 194. Out of the total number of 1 559 plays performed in all theatres, there were 1 030 of them, or 66%, created by domestic authors.
Utjecaj krize i zatvaranja svih javnih ustanova na određeno vrijeme najviše se vidi na broju izvedenih predstava i broju posjetitelja. Profesionalna kazališta za sve dobi izvela su 34% manje predstava te su imala 36% manje posjetitelja nego u prethodnoj sezoni.	The impact of the crisis and the closure of all public institutions for a certain period is mostly visible in the number of performed plays and the number of visitors. Professional theatres for all ages performed 34% less plays and had 36% less visitors than in the previous season.
Amaterska kazališta izvela su 41% manje predstava i imala su pad broja posjetitelja od 57% u odnosu na sezonu 2018./2019.	Amateurs’ theatres performed 41% less plays and had a decrease in the number of visitors of 57% compared to the 2018/2019 season.
Profesionalna kazališta za djecu imala su 18% manje predstava i 28% manje posjetitelja u odnosu na sezonu prije, ali donekle ohrabruje da je kulturni sadržaj ipak bio dostupan našoj najmlađoj publici.	Professional children’s theatres had 18% less plays and 28% less visitors than in the previous season, but it is somewhat encouraging that the cultural content was still available to the youngest audience.
Osjetan pad koncertne sezone za profesionalne ansamble, orkestre i zbor	A significant decline in the concert season for professional ensembles, orchestras and choir
U sezoni 2019./2020. radilo je i dostavilo izvještaje 39 profesionalnih orkestara i ansambla, od toga 6 simfonijskih i velikih orkestara, 6 komornih orkestara te 27 komornih ansambala. Izvedeno je 528 koncerata, priredba i proslava s 163 132 posjetitelja. U odnosu na sezonu 2018./2019. izvedeno je 30% manje koncerata, a posjećenost je pala 39%.	During the 2019/2020 season, 39 professional orchestras and ensembles operated, which delivered reports, out of which 6 were symphony and large orchestras, 6 chamber orchestras and 27 chamber ensembles. A total of 528 concerts, performances and festivities were performed, attended by 163 132 visitors. Compared to the 2018/2019 season, the number of performed concerts declined by 30% and attendance by 39%.
Profesionalni zbor održao je 18 koncerata, 45% manje nego prethodne sezone. Na njima je bilo 12 150 posjetitelja, odnosno 51% manje publike nego 2018./2019.	The professional choir performed 18 concerts, which was a decline of 45% compared to the previous year. They were attended by 12 150 visitors, which was 51% less than in the 2018/2019 season.
Ansambl narodnih plesova i pjesama Hrvatske "Lado" izveo je 54 koncerta odnosno priredbe, 25% manje nego prošle sezone. Na njima je bilo 32 000 posjetitelja, 20% manje nego 2018./2019.	LADO – National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia performed 54 concerts or performances, which was 25% less than in the previous season. They were attended by 32 000 visitors, that is, 20% less than in the 2018/2019 season.
Utjecaj krize na gostovanja izvedbenih umjetnosti u inozemstvu	The impact of the crisis on performing arts’ tours abroad
Zbog zatvaranja granica većine zemalja EU-a u proljeće 2020. znatno je pao broj gostovanja hrvatskih kazališta, orkestara i ansambala. U odnosu na sezonu prije, izvan granica Hrvatske izvedeno je 60% manje predstava profesionalnih kazališta, 49% manje predstava amaterskih kazališta te 13% manje predstava dječjih kazališta. Broj koncerata u inozemstvu profesionalnih orkestara i ansambala u odnosu na sezonu 2018./2019. također je pao, za 42%.	Due to the closure of the borders of most EU countries in spring 2020, the number of tours abroad of Croatian theatres, orchestras and ensembles fell significantly. Compared to the previous season, 60% less plays of professional theatres, 49% less plays of amateurs’ theatres and 13% less plays of children's theatres were performed outside the borders of Croatia. The number of concerts abroad of professional orchestras and ensembles also fell compared to the 2018/2019 season, by 42%.

Izvori i metode prikupljanja podataka	Sources and methods of data collection
Podaci su rezultat obrade statističkih izvještaja koje na Godišnjem izvještaju kazališta (obrazac KU-1) ispunjavaju profesionalna kazališta, profesionalna kazališta za djecu i amaterska kazališta. Na Godišnjem izvještaju profesionalnih orkestara, ansambala i zborova (obrazac KU-2) podatke ispunjavaju profesionalni orkestri, ansambli i zborovi, a na Godišnjem izvještaju profesionalnih ansambala narodnih plesova i pjesama (obrazac KU-3) Ansambl narodnih plesova i pjesama Hrvatske "Lado".	Data are the result of the processing of statistical reports filled in by professional, children’s and amateurs’ theatres on the Annual Report on Theatres (KU-1 form). Professional orchestras, ensembles and choirs fill in the Annual Report on Professional Orchestras, Ensembles and Choirs (KU-2 form) and, finally, LADO – National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia enters its data on the Annual Report on Professional Folk and Song Ensembles (KU-3 form).

Istraživanje obuhvaća profesionalna kazališta, profesionalna kazališta za djecu i amaterska kazališta, profesionalne orkestre, ansamble i zborove na teritoriju Republike Hrvatske koji su radili u sezoni 2019./2020. te Ansambl narodnih plesova i pjesama Hrvatske "Lado". Podaci su usporedivi s podacima iz prethodnih sezona.	The survey covers professional, professional children’s and amateurs’ theatres, professional orchestras, ensembles and choirs on the territory of the Republic of Croatia that were performing in the 2019/2020 season, and the LADO – National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia. Data are comparable to data from the previous seasons.
Definicije i objašnjenja	Definitions and explanations
Profesionalno kazalište jest kulturno-umjetnička ustanova odnosno umjetnička organizacija sa stalnim profesionalnim ansamblom ili profesionalnim ansamblom koji se angažira za pojedine predstave prema ugovoru.	Professional theatre is a cultural and artistic institution, that is, an artistic organisation, either with a resident professional company or with a professional company recruited only for individual performances on a contractual basis.
Profesionalno kazalište za djecu jest profesionalno kazalište koje redovito daje predstave za djecu, a u njima osim profesionalnih zaposlenika mogu sudjelovati i djeca.	Professional children’s theatre is a professional theatre regularly giving performances for children, which includes the participation of children along with that of a professional company.
Amatersko kazalište jest kazalište u čijem su ansamblu većinom amateri. Amatersko kazalište može biti samostalno, u sastavu udruge kulturno-umjetničkog amaterizma, doma kulture i slično.	Amateurs’ theatre is a theatre in which the artistic company consists mostly of amateurs. It can either be independent or a constituent part of an association of cultural-artistic amateurism, home of culture, etc.
Scena je posebno izdvojen kazališni prostor unutar kazališne kuće ili na drugoj lokaciji na kojemu profesionalni ansambl daje kazališne predstave.	Scene is a separate space in a theatre or in another location where a professional company performs.
Profesionalni orkestri i zborovi jesu sastavi profesionalnih glazbenika/pjevača, stalno zaposlenih ili zaposlenih prema ugovoru.	Professional orchestras/choirs are musical ensembles consisting of professional musicians/singers who may be employed either on a permanent or on a contractual basis.
Ansambl narodnih plesova i pjesama Hrvatske "Lado" jest profesionalna ustanova čiji je cilj prikupljanje izvornoga nacionalnog folklora i umjetničko prikazivanje narodnih plesova, glazbe i pjesme.	LADO – National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia is a professional institution aimed at collecting authentic national folklore and performing artistic presentations of folk dances, music and songs.
Koncert je javni nastup koji ispunjava puni program jedne priredbe, a sudjelovanje na priredbama i proslavama odnosi se samo na dio programa.	Concert is a public performance that is a constituent part of the whole programme of an event, while performing during formal events and festivities includes participation only in a part of the whole program.
