THIRD QUARTER OF 2020

Procjena bruto domaćeg proizvoda (BDP) za treće tromjesečje 2020. objavljuje se prema osnovnim kategorijama izdataka i područjima djelatnosti NKD-a 2007.	The estimation of the gross domestic product (GDP) for the third quarter of 2020 is presented by major categories of expenditure and according to the NKD 2007. activity sections.
Tromjesečni BDP upućuje na kratkoročna gospodarska kretanja, dok je osnovna svrha obračuna tromjesečnog BDP-a izračun realne stope rasta.	The quarterly GDP data focus on short-term movements of the economy, while the main purpose of the quarterly GDP estimate is the calculation of real growth rates.
Okolnosti povezane s pandemijom bolesti COVID-19 odrazile su se na dostupnost te pouzdanost podataka i informacija koje se uobičajeno koriste za procjenu tromjesečnog BDP-a.	The circumstances relating to the COVID-19 pandemic have affected the availability and reliability of data and information commonly used to estimate the quarterly GDP.
Procjena pokazuje da je tromjesečni BDP u trećem tromjesečju 2020. realno manji za 10,0% u odnosu na isto tromjesečje 2019.	The estimate shows that the quarterly GDP in real terms decreased by 10.0 % in the third quarter of 2020, as compared to the same quarter of 2019.
Sezonski prilagođeni tromjesečni BDP u odnosu na prethodno razdoblje pokazuje pozitivnu stopu promjene od 6,9%, a u odnosu na isto tromjesečje 2019. realno je manji za 10,0%.	Seasonally adjusted quarterly GDP increased by 6.9% compared to the previous quarter and decreased by 10.0% in real terms compared to the same quarter of 2019.

The real growth rates of quarterly GDP by expenditure categories based on non-seasonally adjusted data are presented in table 2.

Realni pad BDP-a od 10,0% drugi je najveći realni pad od 1995., kad se počela provoditi tromjesečna procjena BDP-a. U svim kategorijama BDP-a s rashodne strane vidljiv je znatan realni pad, osim u potrošnji države i NPUSK-u.	The real decline in GDP of 10.0% is the second largest real decline since 1995, when the quarterly GDP started being estimated. A significant real decline is visible in all categories of GDP on the expenditure side, except in government consumption and in NPISH.
U tablici 3. prikazane su realne stope rasta tromjesečne bruto dodane vrijednosti (BDV-a) prema područjima djelatnosti NKD-a 2007. na temelju originalnih podataka.	Table 3. shows the real growth rates of the quarterly gross value added (GVA) according to the NKD 2007. activity sections based on non -seasonally adjusted data.

Prva procjena, prema originalnim podacima, pokazuje da je tromjesečna bruto dodana vrijednost (BDV) u trećem tromjesečju 2020. realno manja za 7,6% u odnosu na isto tromjesečje 2019.	The first estimate shows that the quarterly GVA decreased in real terms by 7.6% in the third quarter of 2020, as compared to the same quarter of 2019, based on non-seasonally adjusted data.
Na pad BDV–a utjecao je znatan pad realne dodane vrijednosti u djelatnosti Trgovina na veliko i na malo, prijevoz i skladištenje, smještaj, priprema i usluživanje hrane.	The decrease in GVA was influenced by a significant decrease in real value added in the activity Wholesale and retail trade, transportation, storage, accommodation and food service activities.
Podaci tromjesečnog BDP-a od prvog tromjesečja 1995. do drugog tromjesečja 2020. revidirani su u skladu s revizijom serije podataka godišnjeg BDP-a, za razdoblje 1995. − 2019., koji je objavljen u listopadu 2020.	The quarterly GDP data for the period from the first quarter of 1995 to the second quarter of 2020 were revised in line with the revised data series on the annual GDP for the period 1995 ‒ 2019, published in October 2020.
U Statistici u nizu objavljeni su podaci prema osnovnim kategorijama izdataka i područjima djelatnosti NKD-a 2007. u tekućim cijenama, stalnim cijenama prethodne godine, stalnim cijenama referentne godine (2015. = 100) te realne stope rasta.	In Statistics in Line, the data by major categories of expenditure and according to the NKD 2007. activity sections at current prices, constant prices of the previous year, constant prices of the reference year (2015 = 100) and real growth rates are presented.

Prva procjena BDP-a za četvrto tromjesečje 2020. objavit će se 26. veljače 2021.	The first estimate of the GDP for the fourth quarter of 2020 will be published on 26 February 2021.
