National Accounts

National accounts are designed to provide a systematic summary of national economic activities and are an indispensable set of tools for economic monitoring. They offer a comprehensive quantitative picture of economic development. Gross domestic product (GDP) as a measure of economic growth is the most commonly used category of national accounts. National accounts data are based on the methodological framework of the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010).

In addition to data on GDP and national accounts, you can also find data on non-financial sector accounts, government finance statistics, government deficit and debt, input-output tables, regional accounts, gross investment and prices.
