Q1 2000 – Q2 2014 (ESA 2010)

U ovom priopćenju objavljuje se procjena bruto domaćeg proizvoda (BDP) za drugo tromjesečje 2014. prema osnovnim kategorijama izdataka i područjima djelatnosti NKD-a 2007.	The estimation of the quarterly gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter of 2014 by major categories of expenditure and economic activities is presented in this release.
Tromjesečni BDP upućuje na kratkoročna gospodarska kretanja, dok je osnovna svrha obračuna tromjesečnog BDP-a izračun realne stope rasta.	Quarterly GDP data focus on short-term movements of the economy, while the main purpose of the quarterly GDP estimate is the calculation of a real growth rate.
Podaci su dostupni u tekućim cijenama, stalnim cijenama prethodne godine te u stalnim cijenama prethodne godine - referentna godina (2010. = 100). Realne stope rasta izvode se iz serije bazičnih ulančanih indeksa pri čemu je 2010. referentna godina (2010. = 100). Za ulančano povezivanje primijenjena je metoda vezivanja na prosječne cijene prethodne godine.	The data are available at current prices, constant prices of a previous year and constant prices of a previous year - reference year (2010 = 100). Real growth rates are calculated by using basic chain-linked indices, where the referent year (2010 = 100) is the base year. For the purposes of chain-linking, method of linking to the average prices of the previous year is applied.
Serija podataka usklađena je prema godišnjem obračunu BDP-a za razdoblje od 2000. do 2012. Podaci za 2013. privremeni su i dobiveni na temelju preliminarnoga godišnjeg obračuna.	Data series have been adjusted according to the annual GDP calculation for the period from 2000 to 2012. The data for 2013 are provisional and calculated according to the preliminary annual calculation.
U ovom se priopćenju prvi put objavljuju i stope realnog rasta izračunane iz sezonski prilagođene serije tromjesečnog BDP-a.	In this release is also presented quarterly GDP growth rates calculated from seasonally adjusted quarterly GDP data, for the first time.
Osim podataka za drugo tromjesečje 2014., u ovom priopćenju  objavljuje se i revidirana serija podataka o tromjesečnom bruto domaćem proizvodu (BDP) za razdoblje od prvog tromjesečja 2000. do prvog tromjesečja 2014. zbog primjene nove metodologije.	Besides data for the second quarter of 2014, this release presents revised data of quarterly GDP for the period from the first quarter of 2000 to the first quarter of 2014 due to the implementation of new methodology as well.
Glavna svrha ove revizije je prilagodba procjena tromjesečnog BDP-a novoj metodologiji − Europskom sustavu nacionalnih i regionalnih računa (ESA 2010). ESA 2010 odnosi se na harmoniziranu metodologiju koja se obvezno primjenjuje u proizvodnji podataka o nacionalnim računima u Europskoj uniji. Implementacija metodologije ESA 2010 obvezna je za sve zemlje članice EU-a od rujna 2014.	The main purpose of this revision is the adjustment of quarterly GDP estimates with the new methodology - The European System of National and Regional Accounts (ESA 2010). ESA 2010 sets down the harmonised methodology that must be used for the production of national accounts data in the EU. Implementation of ESA 2010 methodological changes is mandatory for all EU countries from the September 2014.
Ova revizija stoga unapređuje kvalitetu postojećih procjena zbog poboljšanih metoda obračuna i novih izvora podataka.	Therefore, this revision enhances the quality of estimates due to the improved calculation methods and new data sources used.

Bruto domaći proizvod u drugom je tromjesečju 2014. realno manji za 0,8% u odnosu na isto tromjesečje 2013. Sezonski prilagođeni BDP je realno manji za 0,3% u odnosu na prethodno tromjesečje i realno manji za 1,0% u odnosu na drugo tromjesečje 2013.	The gross domestic product decreased in real terms in the second quarter of 2014 by 0.8%, as compared to the same quarter of 2013. Seasonally adjusted GDP decreased by 0.3% over the previous quarter and decreased by 1.0% over the second quarter of 2013.
Izdaci za potrošnju kućanstava u drugom tromjesečju 2014. pali su za 0,5%. Izdaci za potrošnju neprofitnih ustanova koje služe kućanstvima (NPUSK) porasli su za 1,3%. Izdaci za potrošnju države pali su za 3,4%. Pad bruto investicija u fiksni kapital iznosio je 5,2%.	The final consumption expenditure of households decreased in the second quarter of 2014 by 0.5%. The final consumption expenditure of non-profit institutions serving households (NPISH) increased by 1.3%. The final consumption expenditure of the general government decreased by 3.4%. The decrease of the gross fixed capital formation was 5.2%.
Izvoz roba i usluga porastao je za 7,9%, ponajprije zbog rasta robnog izvoza za 16,0%. Izvoz usluga pao je za 0,1%. Uvoz roba porastao je  za 4,1%. Uvoz roba i usluga porastao je za 2,2%.	The exports of goods and services increased by 7.9%, due primarily to the increase of 16.0% in the exports of goods. The export of services decreased by 0.1%. The imports of goods increased by 4.1%. The imports of goods and services increased by 2.2%.
Najveći doprinos povećanju obujma bruto domaćeg proizvoda u drugom tromjesečju 2014. ostvaren je većim izvozom roba, dok je najveći doprinos smanjenju obujma prouzročen uvozom roba.	The largest contribution to the gross domestic product growth in the second quarter of 2014 was realised by the increase in the exports of goods, while the largest contribution to the decrease in the volume was realised in the imports of goods.
Doprinos domaće potražnje ostvarenoj stopi realnog rasta BDP-a bio je negativan (2,9 postotnih bodova), dok je doprinos neto inozemne potražnje bio pozitivan (2,1 postotni bod).	The contribution of domestic demand to the realised GDP growth rate was negative (2.9 percentage points), while the contribution of net foreign demand was positive (2.1 percentage points).
Bruto dodana vrijednost (BDV) u drugom tromjesečju 2014. u odnosu na isto tromjesečje prethodne godine realno je manja za 0,4%.	The gross value added (GVA) decreased in real terms by 0.4% in the second quarter of 2014, as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Na realni rast BDV-a utjecao je rast bruto dodane vrijednosti zabilježen u ovim djelatnostima: Prerađivačka industrija (za 2,7%), Trgovina, prijevoz i skladištenje te smještaj, priprema i usluživanje hrane (za 0,7%), Financijske djelatnosti i djelatnosti osiguranja (za 1,0%), Poslovanje nekretninama (za 0,1%), Stručne, znanstvene, tehničke, administrativne i pomoćne uslužne djelatnosti (za 1,5%) i Ostale uslužne djelatnosti (za 0,1%) u odnosu na isto tromjesečje prethodne godine.	The increase in the GVA in real terms was due to the increase in the gross value added in Manufacturing (2.7%), Trade, transport and storage, accommodation and food service activities (0.7%), Financial and insurance activities (1.0%), Real estate activities (0.1%),  Professional, scientific, technical, administrative and support service activities (1.5%) and in Other service activities (0.1%), as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Realni pad bruto dodane vrijednosti ostvaren je u ovim djelatnostima: Poljoprivreda, šumarstvo i ribarstvo (za 3,1%), Prerađivačka industrija, rudarstvo i vađenje te ostale industrije (za 0,5%), Graditeljstvo (za 6,7%), Informacije i komunikacije (za 1,5%) te Javna uprava i obrana, obrazovanje, djelatnosti zdravstvene zaštite i socijalne skrbi (za 0,8%)  u odnosu na isto tromjesečje prethodne godine.	The GVA in real terms decreased in Agriculture, forestry and fishing (3.1%), Manufacturing, mining and quarrying and other industries (0.5%), Construction (6.7%), Information and communication (1.5%) and in Public administration, defence, compulsory social security, education, human health and social work activities (0.8%), as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Najveći doprinos rastu BDP-a u drugom tromjesečju 2014. ostvaren je u djelatnosti Prerađivačka industrija (C), dok je najveći doprinos smanjenju obujma ostvaren u djelatnosti Graditeljstva (F).	The largest contribution to the GDP growth in the second quarter of 2014 was achieved in Manufacturing (C), while the largest contribution to the decrease in the volume was achieved in Construction (F).
Prva procjena BDP-a za treće tromjesečje 2014. objavit će se 28. studenog 2014.	The first estimate on the GDP for the third quarter of 2014 will be published on 28 November 2014.
